Chelsea have completed a loan deal for Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho. The deal is understood to include an obligation to buy if certain thresholds are met. Why Chelsea have signed Jadon Sancho: During his time in the Manchester City youth setup,  he established himself as one of the most exciting young wingers in the world  before taking his talents to Borussia Dortmund. Sancho was still widely regarded as a winger when he joined the Red Devils in July 2021, but now he favours the number 10 role. "He [Sancho] said very confidently that his favourite ...

LIVESTREAM: Chelsea vs Manchester City| EPL

Chelsea face Guardiola's Manchester City in their opening game of the season.  It’s only three years since  Chelsea  beat City in the Champions League; now they live on different planets. Chelsea are starting again, again, under Enzo Maresca, with the same concerns about what they’re doing and whether he’ll be given enough time.  Raheem Sterling will seek clarity over his future  after his surprise omission from Chelsea’s squad to face Manchester City. The former City winger has had an up and down time since moving to Stamford Bridge two years ago. It’s pretty crowded in Chelsea’s attack since the arrival of Pedro Neto but you still would have expected a player of Sterling’s experience to be in the squad. He scored twice against City last season. But Enzo Maresca has plenty of wingers at his disposal and there are suggestions that Sterling, who earns around £300,000 a week, is up for sale. Juventus have been linked with him. Here's how both teams line...

"I want him back." Enzo Maresca wants forgotten £150,000 per-week Chelsea star back in his squad after initially telling him to leave.

Chelsea have asked the player to return to the club.  Chelsea have asked Conor Gallagher to return to England as his proposed move to Atletico Madrid risks collapsing at the last minute, according to reports. The England international's move to the LaLiga club has been in limbo with him having been in Madrid for five days after travelling there to undergo a medical.  A £33.7million move has been agreed between the two clubs, with Gallagher travelling to the Spanish capital after being given permission by Chelsea to do so. His medical has been completed but Atletico need to offload one of their own players to complete the deal for Gallagher to become a new player in Spain.  Despite being advised he will only be a squad player in new manager Enzo Maresca's side, the Blues have requested Gallagher travels back to England and a flight is set to be booked, as reported by  Fabrizio Romano . Chelsea are in talks to bring Portugu...
