Former Chelsea Winger Hakim Ziyech has named his best Moment in a Chelsea shirt.
Hakim Ziyech has named the game in which he scored late at Selhurst Park as his best Moment in a Chelsea shirt.
The Moroccan’s late strike at Selhurst Park was his seventh goal in all competitions that season, and his fourth in the Premier League.
After scoring for the third successive league match, Ziyech had admitted it was his best Chelsea moment:
"‘Yeah. The last couple of months before the game, I was in good shape, and I was enjoying playing football. I was trying to do my best and that is the most important,’
‘It was a difficult game, instead of a good game. There was not a lot of chances, we only had a small couple of chances. Of course, there was the goal that wasn’t allowed, but it was the best feeling to score in the last minute.’
The forward also thanked Marcos Alonso for his fantastic assist in the game. The Spaniard had whipped the ball in from the left-hand side for Ziyech to volley into the back of the net.
‘I think it was a brilliant ball to the far post. You always know if no one touches it, the ball could come down. All I had to do was be there, and shoot.’
