Napoli boss, Antonio Conte is about to raid Chelsea this summer for two players.
Just yesterday, the former Chelsea coach hinted on his interest in Romelu Lukaku amid reports he wants the Belgian to be his first signing:
In a recent interview with Calciomercato, Conte was asked about the possibility of reuniting with Lukaku in Naples.
“Romelu is a strong player, like Osimhen an excellent footballer, there are no comments to make. You hope to always have them [a player like Lukaku] on your side and never against,” said Conte.
Recall per GOAL, Napoli had wanted two Chelsea stars in exchange for Victor Osimhen but with the Blues cooling their interest for the Nigerian striker, there is still perceived interest from Napoli for the player who is rumored to be a youngster.
Chelsea are keen to offload Lukaku this summer and it has been claimed that the 31-year-old is waiting for Napoli to make an offer, giving priority to the Italian side over Saudi clubs.
However, as long as Osimhen's exit is not under wraps, the 2023 Scudetto winners are unlikely to make a move for Lukaku.
